On Monday 30 September it is time again for our Autumn Tasting! Just like last year, it will take place in our own home. This year, the focus will be on the successful and very diverse wine country of Italy. A large number of well-known producers will travel to Waddinxveen for this. Some of them will also provide educational masterclasses. In addition to the Italian wines, there are also many new wines to taste, and we will surprise you with three exclusive Christmas toppers! During the 2023 edition of the competition Prague Wine Trophy they won a total of 147 medals for their wines and 5 best foreign winery awards.

The annual Diamond Awards were presented during the 22nd edition of Wine Professional. The Diamond Awards are awarded annually to people who have made a special contribution to Dutch gastronomy.

It's a tasting featuring more than 320 wines. This year, we will have a special focus on our unique portfolio from South Africa, with nine producers being present in person. Additionally, for this occasion, five producers from the rest of the world have traveled to Waddinxveen.

A few days after the agreement with our new Finnish partners, we can announce another cooperation in Scandinavia. Together with Stefan H. Norberg we founded Delta Wines Norway, with the aim of working all channels of the Norwegian wine market. Stefan has 30 years of experience in the (wine) business and has built an enormous knowledge and reputation in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Including this addition, Delta Wines is now active in six different countries.
Joris Snelten (CEO Delta Wines) and Ralph Zopfi (Managing Director Delta Wines) announce the establishment of Delta Wines Finland, aimed at serving the Finnish wine market throughout all channels. Delta Wines Finland is a joint venture between Delta Wines International and Finnish partners with longstanding experience and relations in the market. The first two local partners are Martin Nordell, Porfolio Director and Topi Järvinen, Sales Director.

Delta Wines has been supporting the wonderful work of the HomePlan Foundation for a number of years. An organization that celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. On this occasion, a symposium was organized where, among other things, the results of the impact study were presented. Two of our employees, Bjorn and Remo, did not come to Utrecht empty-handed. Due to an extra activity among the staff, they were able to hand over an amount of € 2,375.00. An amount that will be used again to offer the poorest in South Africa a Home and Future.
Maison Gabriel Meffre and Delta Wines have agreed that the sales, trade marketing and distribution of the successful La Châsse brand will be taken over by Delta Wines.
Navitas Capital acquires a majority share (51%) in Delta Wines, a leading importer and distributor of over 4,600 different wines from 246 suppliers. The company supplies over 85 million bottles of wine annually from over 20 countries to supermarkets, traditional retailers, wholesalers, the online channel, and the foodservice industry.
