Pizzolato

Pizzolato is an Italian family business where wine has been made for generations with passion and dedication. What once started as a local winery has grown into a producer that effortlessly combines tradition and innovation. The Pizzolato family is a leader in sustainable wine production: as early as 1991, they fully transitioned to organic production and since 2012, all the wines have been completely vegan. These choices are not driven by a trend, but by a deep-seated belief that good wine begins with respect for nature.

The vineyards are located in the heart of Veneto, a region where gentle hills, fertile soils, and a favorable climate converge. By working with the rhythm of nature, the grapes are given the time to develop calmly and harmoniously. This results in wines that are fresh, pure, and distinctive of their origin.
What makes Pizzolato special is the personal involvement of the family in every step of the process. From vineyard to bottle, everything revolves around attention, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. Their wines not only tell the story of Veneto but also that of a family who proudly builds towards the future without losing sight of their roots.

M-Use
The M‑Use line isn’t just about the wine itself, but above all about what happens next. The bottles are deliberately designed as objects you’ll want to keep and reuse, rather than throw away. The subtly embossed design gives the bottle a second purpose, where form and function come together. The wines are crafted in a fresh and approachable style, with a strong focus on purity and fruity aromas such as citrus and ripe white fruit. When the bottle is empty, the second story actually begins. For example, you can use it as a candleholder, a vase for flowers, or a stylish water pitcher or carafe on the table. In this way, the bottle remains part of everyday life, long after the wine has been drunk.
Back to Basic
Back to Basic brings wine back to its essence, with minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the cellar. The focus is on preserving the grape’s natural expression, which is why vinification processes are deliberately kept simple. This includes gentle pressing and a slow fermentation, without unnecessary additives. In the glass, this results in honest, uncomplicated wines with a pure character, where fruit and terroir take center stage.
H‑Hero
H-Hero represents a new generation of wines that combine sustainability and innovation. This line highlights the role of the winemaker and the impact of conscious choices, with modern wines that cater to today’s preferences
Prosecco
Pizzolato’s prosecco is made using the Charmat method, in which the second fermentation takes place in tanks. This results in a light, fresh effervescence and preserves the aromatic character of the grape, usually Glera. The aroma and flavor feature notes of apple, pear, citrus, and white flowers, often with a refreshing finish. The style is elegant and approachable, ideal as an aperitif or with light dishes.
Chianti
Pizzolato’s Chianti brings the character of Tuscany to life. Made from the classic Sangiovese grape, this wine offers a beautiful balance between fruitiness and structure, with subtle spicy notes. An approachable yet full-bodied wine that pairs well with classic Italian dishes and adds just a touch of depth to any meal.
Sunny Farm
The Sunny Farm line offers accessible, organic wines with a fresh and contemporary appeal. These wines are produced from select grapes characterized by a fruity, light, and easy-drinking profile. With their modern style and often lower alcohol content, they cater to the demand for conscious and easy-drinking wines. Sunny Farm thus serves as an attractive entry point within the range and offers a strong combination of sustainability, brand recognition, and broad applicability in retail and the hospitality industry.

The story of Pizzolato
Respect for nature
At Pizzolato, nature is the starting point for everything they do. In the vineyards, they work with an eye to the rhythm of the seasons and the natural balance of the ecosystem. Instead of intervening, the family chooses to let nature take its course, allowing the grapes to develop calmly and in balance. This is reflected in wines that are not only pure and fresh but also bear a clear signature of their origin. You can feel this deep connection to the land in every step of the process and, ultimately, in the glass.
Sustainability
For Pizzolato, sustainability isn’t a separate choice, but a natural part of their daily work. They have been operating entirely organically since 1991, driven by the belief that respect for nature is the foundation of quality. Both in the vineyard and beyond, they consciously make use of everything nature provides: grape pomace is given a second life as compost, and seeds are processed into oil. The family also opts for sustainable packaging solutions, such as recycled materials and reusable bottles. This creates a way of working in which as little as possible is wasted and everything remains in balance, exactly as nature intended.
Innovation
Although Pizzolato is firmly rooted in tradition, the winery continues to look ahead. For the family, innovation is not an end in itself, but a way to further strengthen their vision of sustainability and quality. This is reflected in their fully vegan-certified wines, as well as in initiatives such as the M-Use concept, in which bottles are designed to be given a second life. By constantly seeking new solutions, Pizzolato demonstrates that innovation can go hand in hand with respect for heritage and craftsmanship. In this way, the winery continues to evolve, with an eye toward both the future and the desires of the modern consumer.
Experience
For Pizzolato, wine is about more than just the taste in the glass. It’s about the entire experience: from the first glance at the bottle to sharing a fine glass at the table. That’s why the family pays close attention to design, presentation, and the story behind the wine, ensuring that every bottle adds something special to the experience. Whether it’s a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, Pizzolato wants their wines to invite conscious enjoyment. In this way, every bottle becomes not just a product, but an experience that brings people together.
Wine Tourism
Pizzolato’s vision truly comes to life on the estate as well. Visitors are invited to experience the winery and vineyards up close through guided tours and tastings in a relaxed, welcoming setting. During a visit, you’ll discover not only the production process but also the story and philosophy of the family behind the wines, often combined with a walk through the vineyards themselves. This creates an experience where you can truly feel the connection to the land, nature, and craftsmanship. Pizzolato doesn’t just let you taste the wine—it lets you experience it right where it all begins.
