Mezzacorona

Mezzacorona is one of the leading wine producers in Northern Italy and has been rooted in the mountainous region of Trentino since 1904. More than 1,500 wine-growing families collaborate within a cooperative that stands for sustainability and quality. The cool climate-terroir of the Dolomites provides elegant and fresh wines.
Additionally, the Sicilian Feudo Arancio is also part of the group, where the warm Mediterranean conditions create full, sun-ripened wines. This way, Mezzacorona offers the best from both the north and south of Italy.

Feudo Arancio
Feudo Arancio brings the warm, rich flavours of Sicily to life. The range combines indigenous and international grape varieties to deliver full-bodied, smooth wines with ripe aromas and a sun‑drenched Mediterranean expression. Terre del Noce
Terre del Noce originates in the Dolomites, where the vineyards benefit from a unique alpine microclimate that offers protection from cold winds and humidity. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand, and only the best fruit and the first pressing are used. This results in fresh, pure wines with lively aromas, intense colours and a character reminiscent of the wild, unspoiled nature of the mountain region.
Rotari
Rotari is the sparkling wine house of Mezzacorona, specializing in elegant Trentodoc wines. Thanks to the alpine climate and the traditional method with extended ageing on the lees, the wines develop a fine mousse, vibrant freshness and complex aromas. Rotari combines tradition, precision and mountain character in a distinctive, high‑quality style.

The story of Mezzacorona
Sustainability
Sustainability lies at the heart of Mezzacorona. Since the 1980s, the cooperative has worked from a clear mission: protecting the land and restoring the natural harmony between people and nature. They combine traditional knowledge with innovative techniques to cultivate and produce responsibly.
Harmony between people and nature
Harmony is a fundamental part of Mezzacorona’s winemaking philosophy. The producer emphasizes that their wines are created by respecting natural rhythms, terroir and biodiversity. The collaboration between 1,500 families reflects a deep connection with the land: they see themselves as guardians of the landscape and work with great attention to detail in every vineyard. The Trentino region — with its valleys, rivers and alpine air — forms the foundation for fresh, elegant and authentic wines. This harmonious approach results in products that reflect the purity and beauty of the Italian Alpine area.
Community & Cooperation
Mezzacorona is not just a winery; it is a community of more than 1,500 wine‑growing families who work together based on shared values. Since 1904, this collaboration has formed the backbone of their success. The cooperative structure ensures that knowledge, resources and responsibilities are distributed fairly, allowing each grower to grow in quality and craftsmanship. This strong social foundation creates stability, commitment and continuous innovation throughout the entire chain. As a result, Mezzacorona’s wines express not only their terroir, but also the collective expertise of a close‑knit community that has worked together for generations.
Respect for Tradition
Tradition plays an important guiding role for Mezzacorona. The Trentino region has a winemaking culture that dates back to Roman times, and this rich history is reflected in their approach. The producer combines centuries‑old agricultural principles with modern oenological innovations, creating a unique balance between trusted craftsmanship and contemporary quality. By remaining faithful to local grape varieties and classical farming techniques, their wines stay deeply rooted in authenticity. In doing so, Mezzacorona creates products that not only meet the expectations of today’s market, but also tell the story of a region with profound cultural heritage.
