In 1985, with vision and entrepreneurial spirit, Pim Nolen and Teun Los transformed a traditional beverage wholesaler into a specialized wine company: DGS Wijnkopers, now known as DGS WIJN. With a sharp eye for trends in wine consumption, they quickly recognized that diversity and knowledge would become increasingly important. This turned out to be a successful strategy, as DGS WIJN rapidly grew into a leading player in the Dutch wine market.
The distinctive character of DGS WIJN lies in its approach: less traditional or flamboyant, but efficient and goal-oriented. The label focuses on wines that match consumers' taste preferences and drinking moments, while allowing customers to achieve healthy margins. This remains a key focus to this day.
DGS WIJN operates under the umbrella of Delta Wines Netherlands in Waddinxveen, which is also the parent label of Coenecoop Wine Traders, Pallas Wines, and Global Wine Operations.
About DGS Wijn

Since then, DGS WIJN has been part of Delta Wines, alongside Coenecoop Wine Traders, Pallas Wines, Global Wine Operations, and several international branches.
