Chenin Blanc, aromatische caleidoscoop. Honing, geglaceerde peer, venkel, citrus. Vol als een Vouvray.
Soms is er zo'n wijn die ervoor zorgt dat je elke keer terug naar het glas wil. Telkens lijkt hij weer anders te geuren. Hoezo complexiteit...? De neus doet enorm denken aan honing en geel stuifmeel, Doyenne de Comice peren, bloemen, honing en een lichte hint van rozijnen. De smaak is zacht en romig met citrus en een prachtige textuurmineraliteit, wasachtige lanoline-tonen en honing. Heerlijk romigheid en Vouvray-achtige body. Afdronk blijft maar doorgaan. Fantastisch bij fricassee de veau of honey glazed chicken wings. Waterkloof's Chenin blanc is een benchmark.
