Complexe Chardonnay. Vettig, romig en duidelijke geroosterde tonen. Opwekkende zuren. Eetwijn.
Het beste van Carte Vieja's Chardonnay druiven, afkomstig uit de Casablanca Vallei, Chili's jongste wijnregio. Door het koele klimaat worden hier de beste witte wijnen van Chili gemaakt. Het is dan ook t een complex glas. Forse houtinvloed door 10 maanden op nieuw eiken maar tegelijkertijd tropisch fruit wat toch de eerste viool speelt. Aanvullende fijne tonen met rijpe banaan, passievrucht, geroosterde amandelen en wat lactisch. De smaak is intens, zalvend, met een goed uitgebalanceerde zuurgraad. Een complexe en geconcentreerde wijn die kenmerkend is voor de Casablanca-vallei.
Spijs & moment
Fantastisch voor bij geroosterde varkensvlees (Venkelworstjes van Brand en Levie, jajaja)! Ook fijn bij gerookte zalm op toast en gewoon subliem bij gerookte paling.
