Surprising & Fresh: Côtes de Gascogne by Plaimont

Plaimont, a cooperative of around 800 family-owned estates, manages no less than 5,500 hectares of vineyards, stretching from the foothills of the Pyrenees to the rolling hills of Gascony. Their vineyards cover five appellations: Côtes de Gascogne, Saint Mont, Madiran, Pacherenc de Vic-Bilh, and Jurançon. Together, they represent about one-third of all vineyards in Gascony; excluding the Armagnac area, this accounts for nearly half of the region’s total wine production. 

In early August 2025, Plaimont was named the best cooperative in France by the renowned German magazine Weinwirtschaft — a recognition that highlights their craftsmanship and dedication.
